Job Title: Assistant Manager- SC Analytics Network

Location: India-Mumbai        


Responsibilities:

 

30% of time:

Strategic Responsibilities :

  • Leadership Responsibilities - Set strategic direction for the team in collaboration with cross- functional and US Supply Chain leadership
    • Define S.M.A.R.T. plans to deliver against Logistics Network & Warehousing strategies in alignment with broader Supply Chain objectives
  • New Capability Development & Technical Research -
    • Responsible for driving innovation and provide breakthrough capabilities in Network & Warehousing area to achieve HMM in form of $ or hours for Supply Chain
    • Keep tap on innovation happening outside in supply chains in Network Design, Optimization & Simulation and evaluate use cases for implementation in Supply Chain

40% of time:

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management -
    • Collaborate with business teams to identify pain points and suggest analytical solutions for Logistics
    • Influence Business teams to drive/implement new capabilities /analytics solutions in Warehousing & Transportation area
  • Project Management -
    • Responsible for project management for multiple projects for multiple business and logistics teams
    • Project planning/prioritization, resource planning, managing stakeholder expectations, & presentations to senior management
    • Build ongoing tracking of business goals and communicate progress, risk and risk mitigation measures to all stakeholders
  • Process/Program Management -
    • Accountable Modelling projects deliverables with quality output as per agreed timelines
    • Accountable for ensuring the project Management framework is being followed
  • Version Management -
    • Responsible for version management of analytics tools such as Supply Chain GURU

 

30 % of time:

  • Talent Management Responsibilities -
  • Develop a demonstrably lean, sustainable and successful organization through business results, people development, and efficient processes
  • participating for hiring drives, university engagements, retaining key talent, developing talent in alignment with Individual development plan, training requirements, performance appraisal and achieve talent management metrics
  • Champion Organization's values and culture

 

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed:

 

Minimum 5+ years of work experience with demonstrated project and people leadership skills in Supply Chain

Hands on experience of building Optimization & Simulation models

Demonstrated skill in developing new solutions to business problems

Can prioritize and complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines

Demonstrated skills in Network Design, production planning, distribution planning

Broad understanding of end to end supply chain business processes

Strong analytical and Supply Chain business acumen skills

Additional Information

  • This position reports to the Manager, the Supply Chain Analytics group. Hours of operation are 1.30 PM to 10.30 PM Mumbai time (Monday to Friday) with the ability to flex hours as the job demands
  • In performing these accountabilities, the incumbent must develop and maintain an effective working relationship with Organizations' employees at all levels across the company locations
  • The Job involves travel to worldwide GMI location on short term basis depending on business requirements

Education


Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors


Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters


Preferred Major Area of Study: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering


Minimum years of related experience required: 4 years


Preferred years of related experience: 6 years
